Power BI Area Chart

The Area chart is based on the Line Chart, the difference is that the area between the axis and the line is filled in with colours to show volume. As with a Line Chart, an Area Chart is often used to visualise a trend in data over intervals of time, Area charts emphasise the magnitude of change over time and can draw attention to the total value across a trend. For example, we can plot data that represents profit over time in an area chart to emphasise the total profit.
