Privacy Policy for TRACK’EM

Last updated: 19 September 2026

TRACK’EM is developed and maintained by Iyad Horani (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the TRACK’EM Android app or contact us for support.

For privacy questions, contact info@ironic3d.com.au.

Information you enter

TRACK’EM lets you create and manage tracked dates, reminders, categories, and notes. This information is stored locally on your device and used to display your entries and schedule reminder notifications.

You do not need to create a TRACK’EM account. We do not operate a server that stores your reminder entries, and we do not send the contents of your reminders or notes to advertising providers.

Backups and exported files

You can export your entries and categories to a backup file and restore them later. Exported files contain the information you entered, including any notes, and are not encrypted by TRACK’EM.

You choose where to save or share these files. If you select a cloud-storage service, such as Google Drive, that provider handles the file under its own privacy policy.

Android’s system backup and device-transfer features may also back up or restore app data, depending on your device settings. These services operate separately from TRACK’EM’s manual export feature.

Notifications and device permissions

TRACK’EM uses notification and alarm capabilities to deliver reminders you enable. It may also restore reminder schedules after your device restarts.

You can manage notification permissions through Android settings. Depending on your notification settings, reminder information may appear on your lock screen.

When importing or exporting a backup, you choose the file or destination through Android’s file-selection interface.

Advertising

The ad-supported version of TRACK’EM uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

Google’s advertising SDK collects and shares information such as:

  • IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location.

  • Device and account identifiers, including advertising identifiers where available.

  • App and advertising interactions.

  • Diagnostic information, such as performance and crash information.

Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. Processing depends on the SDK configuration, your device settings, and applicable privacy choices.

Where required, the app presents a consent message before requesting ads. Where available, you can review or change your choices through the app’s privacy settings. Choosing non-personalised advertising does not necessarily prevent all advertising-related data processing.

Learn more through Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Purchases

Where offered, you can make a one-time purchase through Google Play to remove advertisements.

Google processes the payment. We do not receive your full payment-card details. The app uses purchase information supplied by Google Play, such as the purchased product, purchase token, and purchase status, to verify ownership and restore the ad-free feature.

Removing ads does not delete information previously processed by Google. Google may retain transaction records under its own policies and legal obligations.

Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you include, such as your name, device details, screenshots, or a description of a problem.

We use this information to respond, investigate issues, and maintain the app. Our email provider processes these communications on our behalf. Please include only information needed to explain your request.

Sharing and overseas processing

Information may be processed by providers involved in advertising, payments, email support, or backup services you choose to use.

These providers may process information outside your country, including in countries with different privacy laws. Their privacy policies explain their handling of that information.

We may disclose information we hold where necessary to comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests.

Retention and deletion

Your reminder entries remain on your device until you delete them or clear the app’s data. Uninstalling the app normally removes its local data, but exported files and system backups may remain and may restore data later.

You are responsible for deleting exported backups from the locations where you saved or shared them.

We retain support correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, address related issues, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Google and other providers determine retention periods for information they process under their own policies.

Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Edit or delete your reminder entries.

  • Disable notifications through Android settings.

  • Manage backups and delete exported files.

  • Use available advertising privacy controls.

  • Contact us about personal information you have provided directly to us.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator.

We cannot access or delete reminder entries stored only on your device. Requests concerning information held independently by Google or another provider may need to be directed to that provider.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information we handle. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect access to your device and store exported backup files securely.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its information-handling practices change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
